UI/UX Designer

Job Description / Responsibilities

We are seeking a talented and motivated UI/UX Designer with a strong background in both user interface and user experience design. The ideal candidate will have experience creating visually engaging and intuitive digital products, with a focus on improving user interaction and satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with project managers and senior designers to understand project requirements and deliver effective design solutions.
• Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups to communicate design ideas.
• Conduct user research, usability testing, and analyse feedback to iterate and improve design concepts.
• Maintain and expand design systems and style guides to ensure consistency across all digital platforms.
• Work closely with developers to ensure smooth integration of designs into final products.
• Stay up to date with the latest UI/UX design trends and incorporate best practices into your work.
• Assist with the creation of marketing materials, such as banners and social media graphics, when required.
• Manage multiple design projects, ensuring high-quality output and meeting deadlines.

Skills Required:

• Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, and the Adobe Creative Suite.
• Solid understanding of user-centred design principles and UX best practices.
• Strong portfolio showcasing your UI/UX design expertise and design process.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively within a remote team.
• Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is a plus but not essential.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
• Fluent in English with excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Experience Requirements:

• 1 to 2 years of experience in UI/UX design, with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
• Experience working in a digital or software-based environment, ideally with UK-based clients.

Additional Requirements:

• A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Design, or a related field is preferred.
